Growing up, Vince had no intention of pursuing a career as a lyricist. He was raised on classic rock and bluegrass, with his father being a veteran banjo player in a local bluegrass group. By the age of 11, Vince began journaling his thoughts and feelings which threw him into the world of poetry amidst his adolescence. The similarities between rap and poetry brought him to start writing verses to instrumentals of radio hits and by the start of his senior year of high school, Vince was prepared to begin releasing his own music.

In recent years, Vince has amassed over 1.5 million streams across all platforms and has worked with prominent musicians, including Dirty Heads, with whom he crafted the song “John Linen” featured on their most recent deluxe album. He has performed at showcases, private parties, and venues on both the east coast and west coast, including shows at Berlin Under A in Manhattan, NY and El Cid in Hollywood, CA. With an electric stage presence, the highest quality songwriting, and an undeniably authentic sound, Alex Vince is on track to be one of the most prolific artists of his time.
